Mountain Mangdang Cultural Relic Tourist Area is located in Yongcheng City where Jiangsu, Shandong, He'nan and Anhui Provinces bordered and is a rising famous scenic spot with characteristics of Han culture in border area of Eastern He'nan. It leans against Jinghu line in the east, neighbors Jingqiu line in the west and leans upon Longhai line in the north; Lianhuo expressway goes through here, and it comes down in one continuous line with six tourist cities such as Xi'an, Luoyang, Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Xuzhou and Lianyungang, with convenient traffic and favorable geographic position. It was listed into the “three points one line” golden tour belt of He'nan Province in 2002.

Mountain Mangdang Cultural Relic Touristy Area has a long history with rich and generous culture; the human landscapes are found everywhere; the cultural relics and historic sites in different ages almost cover the whole evolving process of Chinese history. Here, there is the Fuzi cliff where the Confucius sought shelter from the rain when he traveled across various countries in Spring and Autumn Period, the epigraph written by Guo Moruo and the tomb for Chen Sheng who was the first leader of peasant revolt in Chinese history, the Zhang Fei Castle where the valiant general Zhang Fei sent armed forces to suppress Wei in the Three Kingdoms Period, the Three Holy Hall where Shuihu hero Li Gun, Xiang Chong and Fan Rui got together and uprose and the Guo Tower, and many relics left by Han Gaozu Liu Bang who established the Han Dynasty with four hundred years history after killing the snake and uprising, such as Gaozu temple, the snake-skilled stele, emperor-bathing spring, purple gas rock, emperor-hiding valley, loyal emperor peak and etc. Especially the stele in honour of the revolting of Gaozu Liu Bang is beat directly and mirage of Gaozu can be seen, which is called as “wonder all over the world”. What is acclaimed as the peak of perfection is the 21 seats of the king Liang's mausoleum group in Western Han Dynasty, and the quantity, scale, value and distribution are rare in the world and unparalleled in the whole country. Of which, the four-divine mural painting that was unearthed in Han Mausoleum of persimmon garden is praised as “Tunhuang prior to Tunhuang”; the Mausoleum of the queen Li who was wife of the king Liang Xiao in Western Han Dynasty is praised as “World First Mastaba Mausoleum” with enormous scale and extraordinary value. The mausoleum group was publicized as Historical and Cultural Relics under State Protection by the State Council in 1996, and is the national “AAAA” tourist scenic spot now.
